The ASUCC presents a double elimination co-ed dodge ball tournament, hosted at the UCC gym Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. Teams will be limited in size to ten and are required to have at least six people. Age restrictions do apply as players must be 14 or older. Registration is $60 per team with a maximum of 12 teams to be allowed.

UCC will host a blood drive Wednesday Feb. 22 and Thursday Feb. 23rd. Sign-ups for donations are taking place in the student center. Donors and volunteers can also call Marjan Coester at 440-7749 to reserve an appointment.

A buy-one-get-one offer on ski lift tickets is available at Shell fuel stations in Roseburg. To qualify for the deal, at least ten gallons of fuel must be purchased. The lift tickets are valid for Willamette Pass, Hoodoo, Mt. Ashland, Ski Bowl, Mt Hood Meadows, Timberline and Anthony Lakes. The offer is valid from Jan.2 to April 16.

The Douglas County fairgrounds will host the Earth Day and Energy Fair on April 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature informative fun on topics ranging from solar power to exotic animals. More information can be found by calling 440-4255 or by emailing trmanton@co.douglas.or.us

Students will soon have a new option for tutoring. The Smartthinking program already purchased by UCC will soon be available online. Smartthinking works in conjunction with already existing UCC tutoring, by offering real time online support for students who are unable to come to campus.
